Royal Hackaway is Royal Holloway's annual hackathon.
Open to university students from the UK and around the world, in this two-day hackathon you'll work as a team to build a project. You'll pick up new skills, try out new tech, and meet new people. This is our third time running this event, and we're excited to create a more inclusive and rewarding event for all.
Eligibility
Anyone 18+ who is either a current university student or has graduated in the past six months.
Requirements
Be sure to write up your experiences of working on your hack.
When submitting your project, make sure to select the MLH prizes (if any) that you would like your project to be entered for!

Build or add automation to your hack using UiPath! Each winning team member will receive a Limited Edition UiPath Branded Backpack!
(MLH) Best use of MondoDB Atlas
Create a hack using MongoDB Atlas to host a database in the cloud! Automate the provisioning and deployment process with ease, while focusing all your efforts on your hack. Projects built using MongoDB Atlas will be eligible to win an AirCharge Plus per team member.
(MLH) Best use of Google Cloud
Build your hackathon project with a suite of secure storage, powerful compute, and integrated data analytics products provided by Google Cloud. See full list of products here: g.co/cloud. Each winning team member will receive a Google Home Mini.
(MLH) Most Creative Radar.io Hack
Build the most creative hack using Radar's SDKs and APIs for geofencing, location search, and geocoding. Some ideas for location-aware projects include a delivery tracker, campus building locator, and a Find my Friends clone. Winning team members will be eligible to win a Tile Sticker Smart Tracker and a chance to be featured by Radar.
